Simulations from the NGS

Many NGS users perform simulations on NGS resources creating amazing visual displays, and just some of these simulations are linked below. If you have any simulations that you would like to contributeto this section, please contact the NGS Liaison officer.

Zhongwei Guan, University of Liverpool Research : impact/blast behaviour of fibre metal laminates As well as making these simulations freely available, Dr Guan has also given a presentation at the NGS Roadshow in Exeter, titled "Undertake numerical modelling of various engineering structures using supercomputer in NGS". This presentation gives more background information on his research and explains his use of NGS resources.
